Living with Cancer

Managing the adverse effects of treatments.

Side effects are possible no matter what type of treatment you receive. However, each person perceives them differently.

Some side effects are more difficult to detect than others and it can sometimes be difficult to clearly determine if what you are experiencing is due to your treatments or not. Report what you are experiencing to your doctor, nurse or pharmacist as soon as possible, as early management often prevents more serious complications.
